April 2021 Presidents Message

Hello All!

Exciting things happening in chapter news!  We’re proud to announce the formation of a New England committee of the Counsel on Women in Energy & Environmental Leadership (CWEEL). CWEEL is a division of AEE that supports the role of women in the energy and environmental industries.  Please see below for contact information, mentor/mentee enrollment, and more news about the Counsel.

It's also our annual Call for AEE Scholarships!  Applications are due by April 20th.  Please see our announcements page for details.

And related to students, I’m looking forward to our April 7th meeting, Career Paths in Energy Engineering.  Free to all students and recent grads! Please register and share with any of your friends and family members interested in getting into energy.  We’ve got a panel talking about their careers and how they got into energy.

Other upcoming events include:

April 20th and 21stAEE Virtual.  East and West joined this year for a two day virtual conference

May 5thBCxA Northeast Joint Meeting.  Learn about the latest recommendations for retro-commissioning and building energy.

And an update to our annual golf tournament… while we are optimistic about our ability to get together again soon, we’ve decided to delay the tournament until Thursday, September 23rd to allow more time for the experience to get back to normal.  We’ll be calling on sponsors shortly.
