CWEEL New England
The Council on Women in Energy & Environmental Leadership (CWEEL) is a division of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). CWEEL's mission is to support career development for professional women, mentoring, networking, and scholarships for aspiring women to pursue technical education and careers in the energy and environmental fields.
ABOUT CWEEL NEW ENGLAND
The New England CWEEL Group was established in February 2021 as part of the New England Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers. The group aims to build a regional network where professionals that identify as women, as well as those who support diversity in the energy and environmental industry, can network and support each other in their career growth.
Membership is through the international CWEEL organization, providing CWEEL-NE members full access to their extensive programs, including the highly successful Mentoring Program.
Members are invited to take leadership roles by joining the CWEEL-NE Advisory Group, which plans the group’s programming and events.
